Ryan also served as a Judicial Officer for the University of Idaho, completed an externship with a city attorney, and spent time as a law clerk for a trial judge.
Outside the practice of law, Ryan devotes most of his spare time and energy to his family – he is married and has three children. He has served as a volunteer coach in a variety of youth sports, and as a Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader. Having been born and raised on a ranch in western Montana, the hobbies that he enjoys most with his family relate to most all things outdoors; to include fly fishing, traditional archery, hiking, camping, and tending to his small farm just outside Spokane.
